Curt and Katrina’s wedding at Alyeska Ski Resort was proof that a little rain can’t touch a day this good. We rode the tram up the mountain through low clouds and mist, and honestly, the weather only made everything feel more intimate and adventurous.
The rain made the colors pop in the most unexpected way. Katrina’s bouquet practically glowed against the gray sky, and her dress looked amazing in that soft, diffused light. Curt? Sharp as ever, totally unbothered by the drizzle.
They said their vows at the summit, clouds swirling all around, and it was magical in a moody, wild kind of way. The view wasn’t perfectly clear, but that made it feel like their own private mountaintop world.

After the ceremony, we wandered around for portraits—lots of laughs and some of the best candid moments ever. The wet rocks, the mist, the way their energy bounced off each other—it all came together into photos that feel alive.
Back at the resort for the reception, it was warm, cozy, and totally them. Candles, laughter, and a space that felt like the perfect little hideaway after a crazy mountaintop morning.
Curt and Katrina’s day proves it: a little rain on a mountain top doesn’t just add drama—it adds magic.
